Feb. 9 – The retrospective Cindy Sherman – Works from the Olbricht Collection has been on display since autumn, but if you haven't gotten around to checking it out yet, now might be the time: musician (and queen of queer Berlin) Peaches will discuss the exhibition, touching on the thematic overlap between Sherman's work and her own – and also chat about her recent album Rub. The talk will be held in English at me Collectors Room on Wednesday, February 10.

Although Sherman occupies the visual art world whereas Peaches' main deal is music, the two have a lot in common: they're both unabashedly present and self-referential in their work, they playfully challenge stereotypes of gender, and their creative output is often simultaneously sexually and intellectually charged.

This talk (moderated by German author Florian Werner) is a one-off engagement, but the Sherman show continues through March 10.
