When the bar Flax opened in Prenzlau- er Berg in 1994, the district was still a hotspot for the LGBTI* community. A gay bookstore, bars, clubs – almost everything has disappeared over the years. Flax, however, is an exception, now turning 25, which certainly calls for a celebration. Happy Birthday!
