Though Queen Beatrix is no longer in reign, some Germans still celebrate her birthday fanatically, as you can see tonight at Hafen
Since 2014, the Netherlands no longer celebrates Koninginnedag (Apr. 30) in honor of former Queen Beatrix but instead Koningsdag (Apr. 27). But Hafen prefers to do things the old-fashioned way. Guys fill the bar and spill out into the sidewalk in anticipation of Her Royal Highness’s arrival.
