Since last year, Berlin has been honoring the legendary sexologist Magnus Hirschfeld every May. Now, the ensemble around the queer bar in Friedrichshain is dedicating a drag musical to him! Starting from his fictional funeral, the performers take the audience on a journey through his life and legacy—daring to cast a critical eye on Hirschfeld’s impact as well. All of it, of course, delivered with drag typical cheeky winks, but also with genuine emotion and fighting spirit. The song selection and original compositions by Ludwig Uebe shine with wit and heartfelt dedication to the topic.
