The queer club celebrates big its anniversary
Most of tonight’s guests surely hadn’t even been born by 1977. Yet it was exactly 46 years ago that the ‘Schwulenzentrum’ (“Gay Center”), shortened to SchwuZ, opened in Schöneberg. Tonight they celebrate with a roaring birthday party for anyone younger or older than 46 years old.

In existence since 1977, SchwuZ is one of Berlin's most beloved queer institutions. A nightclub with three dancefloors and bars, it serves a platform for LGBTI* subculture in Neukölln and the city at large. Since 2021 the Pepsi Boston Bar opens its doors during the week and welcomes Queers & Friends.
