Through projects such as a reenactment of a Nico concert and collaborative work with Gudrun Gut and Beate Bartel, among others, the Berlin-based queer dark wave singer has attracted attention in recent years. Annika Henderson has previously performed at the Pop-Kultur Festival – so this is a reunion with surprises: today Anika presents her latest work, Abyss.

For the first time, this year's Pop-Kultur Festival will expand beyond the locations at Kulturbrauerei to Silent Green and other locations in Wedding. Although there is no specific thematic focus in 2025, the program will feature several queer artists, covering a broad spectrum and has multiple LGBTIQ* focuses.
