The queer quartet, comprised of musicians from Uruguay, Sweden, and Turkey, may be based in London, but its instrumentals, inspired by 1960s surf music, cumbia, and mariachi, are released by the long-established Berlin label City Slang. And since word of Los Bitchos' thrilling concerts has long spread, the Pop-Kultur guest appearance at Kesselhaus is likely to be quite well attended.

For the first time, this year's Pop-Kultur Festival will expand beyond the locations at Kulturbrauerei to Silent Green and other locations in Wedding. Although there is no specific thematic focus in 2025, the program will feature several queer artists, covering a broad spectrum and has multiple LGBTIQ* focuses.
