March loves his vacuum cleaner. But not just any vacuum: it houses the soul of his late wife, Nat, who died of air pollution and found refuge in the appliance. Together, they take on possessed refrigerators, help an academic ladyboy and her lover battle corrupt politicians, defy outraged relatives, and enjoy their regained intimacy—even in bed. A biting satire on class, love, sex, and grief that never loses its sense of humor. Winner of the Grand Prize at the Semaine de la Critique in Cannes.
