The 1919 film Different from the Others was a pioneering work of gay rights. It’s also the name of a current film series marking 20 years since the abolishment of Paragraph 175, the provision criminalizing homosexuality. Tonight, Jochen Hick’s documentary focuses on survival strategies of LGBT people in Moscow.
