Sigrun Casper wrote this novel as a tribute to her longtime friend, poet Mario Wirz, who died in 2013. Her telling of the childhood of a little boy named Kilian in West Germany during the 50s is inspired by Wirz’s own life. She presents the book tonight as part of a reading. In German.
