For a grandiose way to start off the New Year, head to the Konzerthaus: Hosted by Gayle Tufts, the concert features guests that both the orchestra and the audience can look forward to. Tim Fischer (pictured) and Meret Becker will sing, and the Flying Steps will do a fast-paced breakdancing show.

Das frühere Schauspielhaus am Genarmenmarkt beherbergt in seinen vier Sälen etwa 550 Veranstaltungen im Jahr. Das 1820 erbaute Gebäude von Architekt Karl Friedrich Schinkel ist für viele Gelegenheiten eine imposante Kulisse.
