Filmmaker Ulrike Ottinger has dedicated her new exhibition at the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin to her favorite subject: travel. In it, she confronts historical pictures and travel documents by explorers such as Humboldt with her own filmic expeditions into other countries. Accompanying this, her documentary Exil Shanghai will screen at Arsenal.
