The Maids – a perfidious tragedy in one act – is the most famous play by the gay French playwright Jean Genet. Director Ivan Panteleev has fulfilled the author’s casting specifications: the three female characters are all played by male actors: Wolfram Koch, Bernd Stempel and Samuel Finzi (pictured L-R).
