Drama in English
In 1970s Harlem, a woman discovers she is pregnant just as her lover is jailed for a crime he didn't commit. Although its story is ultimately about hetero romance, this critically acclaimed film by Moonlight director Barry Jenkins is based on the novel by queer civil rights activist James Baldwin.
The premier movie theater of the GDR is magnificently built, a perfect setting not just for watching movies but also for parties. The weekly MonGay series presents current queer films and also cult classics.
