Whereas Boy Erased uses dramatic effect to explore pseudoscientific conversion therapy, the Sundance-premiered The Miseducation of Cameron Post goes more for humor and nuance. The titular teenager is sent to pray the gay away after her boyfriend catches her having sex with the prom queen.
