Philippe Jaroussky and his Ensemble Artaserse welcome you on a journey to 17th-century Venice. The countertenor has selected some of the most beautiful arias from the prolific baroque composer Francesco Cavalli. Instrumental music from the same period will also be performed.

Das frühere Schauspielhaus am Genarmenmarkt beherbergt in seinen vier Sälen etwa 550 Veranstaltungen im Jahr. Das 1820 erbaute Gebäude von Architekt Karl Friedrich Schinkel ist für viele Gelegenheiten eine imposante Kulisse.
