This Berliner operetta premiered in 1932 and its English-language adaptation by Oscar Hammerstein, Ball at the Savoy, followed one year later. Barrie Kosky’s revival of the original is an opulent production featuring Dagmar Manzel (pictured, L) and Katharine Mehrling (R). Have a ball!
