Schaubühne is going through a queer phase, and as part of the Festival of International New Drama, is bringing another play about trans* identity to the stage. In this guest performance from Barcelona, multiple trans* people get to have their say, telling stories spanning stigma and self-realization.

Schon allein das Theatergebäude ist einen Besuch wert: 1927–1931 im Stil der Neuen Sachlichkeit erbaut, war es damals das größte Kino Berlins. Seit 1962 wird es als Theater genutzt, 1981 übersiedelte das Ensemble der Schaubühne in das Haus am Lehniner Platz. Der junge Regisseur Thomas Ostermeier inszeniert erfolgreich Klassiker und Stücke jüngerer Autoren.
