Over the course of her career, Peaches has left a gash on mainstream pop, all the while remaining the matron saint of Berlin’s queer music scene. Her Ve- gas-esque variety show, There’s Only One Peach with the Hole in the Middle, runs nightly through New Year’s Eve, featuring around 40 performers.

Die Volksbühne Berlin ist Legende und lebendiges Theater der Stadt. Frank Castorf prägte die Spielstätte nach der Wende bis heute. Noch immer will sich das Theater einmischen und keine glatt gebügelte Theaterware liefern. Mit dem roten und grünen Salon haben sich außerdem zwei Locations für Konzerte, Vorträge, Diskussionen etabliert, die fest zum kulturellen Leben Berlins gehören.
