Their seventh album Heartthrob catapulted Tegan and Sarah into the #3 position of the U.S. charts at the beginning of the year. No wonder the lesbian twins are leaving their indie roots behind to gallop in the Katy Perriest way possible toward bubblegum pop heaven. Kinda creepy, but cool.

The club for beer. At least the eponymous "Astra" is also served over the counter here. Otherwise, Astra is the hip music temple in the bustling neighborhood around Revaler Strasse, which still refuses to gentrify. Gossip, Peaches, Ben Harper - they've already been here, and many others are still to come.
