Gay star conductor Adam Benzwi and the Salon Orchestra of the Komische Oper have recorded songs from the 1920s and 30s by Friedrich Hollaender, Bruno Balz, Michael Jary, Werner Richard Heymann, Kurt Weill, Hanns Eisler, and Peter Kreuder. Now they are presenting the finished album—featuring opera superstar Anne Sofie von Otter, as well as actor Nico Holonics (from Barrie Kosky’s *Threepenny Opera*). Truly extraordinary!
