New Delhi-based Artist Sumit Mehndiratta presents his exhibition of works made in India with an artist talk that explores the struggles of being queer in contemporary Indian society.

He presents his ongoing project dealing with his topic of queerness in India, the mental healt issues associated with this, and the stigmas and oppression that comes with it.

Mehndiratta has been exploring this subject through his art residencies in Europe because it is not

very common or accepted his home country to openly discuss queer identity.
