A musical cabaret portraying the life of Claire Waldoff
In her tribute "Claire Waldoff – Ich will aber gerade vom Leben singen..." ("But I Just Want to Sing About Life..."), musical cabaret artist and former *Siegessäule* columnist Sigrid Grajek affectionately honors the legendary lesbian street singer (1884–1957); accompanied by pianist Stefanie Rediske, she performs Waldoff’s popular hits and recounts—in authentic Berlin dialect—anecdotes about the singer's drinking bouts with Heinrich Zille.
