In Cameroon, homosexuality is still a criminal offense and a big taboo and is considered a great shame for the families concerned. The film shows Cameroonian-born director Appolain Siewe's personal confrontation with his homophobic upbringing, the intolerance towards homosexuals in Cameroonian society and in his own family.
