Before the new production of Gerd Natschinski's ‘Messeschlager Gisela’ (presented by SIEGESSÄULE), the Komische Oper is organising a symposium with several gay operetta experts (including Roland Dippel, Klaus Lederer, Kevin Clarke) who will discuss the significance of the genre in its ‘socialist’ variant.
