As part of the Monologue Festival, Argentine-German directing duo Vöcks de Schwindt transports us to Renaissance Florence. Accompanied by delicate, playful music and singing from this era, imagined sensual stories of gay men are told. ‘Die Florenzer’ (The Florentines) is the first instalment of a trilogy centred around tales of the happy lives of our queer ancestors.
