Anyone who missed the opening of the new Ring cycle at the Salzburg Easter Festival (produced by gay director Kirill Serebrennikov) can at least experience Das Rheingold in concert in Berlin – with Kirill Petrenko conducting the Berlin Philharmonic. Christian Gerhaher makes his debut as Wotan. A must-see for local Wagnerians, not least for the famous Rainbow Bridge at the end.
