The discussion explores how theater should respond in times of a political shift to the right—and what the current "culture war" signifies for programming and artistic freedom. This applies particularly to LGBTIQ* artists and issues of representation. Joining the conversation is director Bastian Kraft, whose queer production *Ugly Duckling* will be performed immediately following the event. Admission to the discussion in the Balcony Foyer is free. After the performance, there will be a party at the bar featuring a DJ set.
