October 7, 2023 marked a turning point for Jews around the world. After the terrorist attack on Israel, which left over 1,200 people dead and hundreds abducted, the Jewish community found itself facing not only a new wave of hatred and violence, but also a shocking lack of solidarity – especially from circles that otherwise champion feminism and antidiscrimination.
