On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Mascha Kaléko’s death this January, this guided tour commemorates the poet’s life, highlights the places where she lived and worked, and allows her to speak for herself through her poetry. Mascha Kaléko captured the spirit of the famous 1920s in West Berlin just as vividly as she did her subsequent exclusion and expulsion into exile during the Nazi era.
