South America has a long history of censorship that continues to the present day: works have been removed from schools and libraries on the grounds of sexual content or political messages. The event focuses on posthumanist and transfeminist literature from South America, placing community, ritual and tenderness at the heart of the healing and liberation of the wounded female body.
