Feminist, diverse, and genre-spanning: Since 2014, the Heroines of Sound festival has provided a platform for early and contemporary pioneers of electronic music who explore new musical territory and make important contributions to current aesthetic discourses. A special focus of the thirteenth edition of the festival at Berlin's Radialsystem is on the Asian, and in particular the Japanese, diaspora – featuring new works by FLINTA* musicians and producers. "New Space for the Arts" hatte sich die Radialsystem V GmbH auf die Fahnen geschrieben, als sie das ehemalige Pumpwerk 2004 sanierte. Tatsächlich etablierte sich das Radialsystem als Ort innovativer und hochwertiger Konzerte, Tanz- und Musiktheateraufführungen.
