Directed by Tucké Royale and Jens Friebe, this musical reading commemorates the unique gay communist and author Ronald M. Schernikau. With the collaboration of his estate administrator Kristin Bönicke and the participation of Elmira Bahrami.

Schernikau also known as ‘the last communist’, he emigrated to the GDR shortly before the fall of the Berlin Wall and studied at the Institute of Literature in Leipzig. He died of AIDS in 1991.
