Los Angeles-based trans man Avery Tucker had already made a name for himself as one half of the dreampop duo Girlpool. Now, the guitarist with the softly sultry voice presents a whole host of introspective songs on his solo debut, Paw. The titular paw symbolizes both strength and vulnerability.
