Since 2018, Daniel Pongratz (aka Danger Dan)—vocalist for the Hamburg-based anti-fascist rap group Antilopen Gang—has also been releasing solo albums that reach listeners well beyond the genre's usual audience. His 2021 piano ballad "Das ist alles von der Kunstfreiheit gedeckt" has since become a political pop classic on par with the work of Rio Reiser. "Keine Angst," the title track of his new album—which he was slated to perform with Igor Levit on the ZDF satirical show *Die Anstalt* (before both were disinvited)—is every bit as significant. Dan’s third solo album also features the track "Warum es nicht geklappt hat," in which he attempts to come to terms with his bisexuality.

Both of his November concerts in Berlin sold out months ago, but Danger Dan will return to the Parkbühne Wuhlheide late next summer (September 11, 2017).
