This year's Jazzfest Berlin has the motto ‘Fire!’, so it stands to reason that saxophonist Mats Gustafsson, leader of the Swedish jazz trio Fire!, has put together an international big band especially for the finale of the three-day festival. The band includes several jazz musicians who live in Berlin, such as the lesbian Brazilian drummer Mariá Portugal.
