From the melodic pieces on her debut album Im Vertrauen to the improvised experiments on Powerful Vulnerability by the newly formed Julia Kadel Trio to her participation in Erik Leuthäuser's highly acclaimed album Sucht: the multifaceted talent of the Berlin-based pianist and founder of the Queer Cheer initiative (which promotes queer artists and venues) seems inexhaustible. She will be giving a solo recital today as part of the three-day rejazz festival.
