Although Calgary-born Kiesa Rae Ellestad initially started out as a guitar-playing folk singer, she soon proved herself a successful songwriter for such prominent clients as Kylie Minogue and Rihanna. Kiesza's own career also took off with Eurodance tracks like "Hideaway." Like Kylie, Kiesza is an active LGBTIQ* advocate and participated in events such as last year's Pride in Toronto.
