But the non-binary artist's greatest international success to date has been with the solo work “Juniper,” released in 2021, which traces the path to self-discovery through instrumental means in tracks such as “Neon Light (and the Sky was Trans).” “Juniper” is also the name of Fredriksson's quintet, which includes singing cellist Anni Elif and renowned jazz harpist Iro Haarla, among others.
