Berlin-based "rock star violinist" Iskandar Widjaja has a large gay fan base (as he himself says) and specifically contacted us to list his "kitsch-free" Valentine's Day concert. Titled Ode to Joy: Melodies for Valentine's, the concert features fresh and bold reinterpretations of Albinoni, Pachelbel, and Vivaldi, as well as Iskandar's newly arranged Coldplay Concerto. The program also includes soundtracks from Gladiator and much more.
