As part of the BKA’s “Unerhörte Musik” series, Irish bassoon and contrabassoon player Olivia Palmer-Baker—a specialist in contemporary music—will give a solo recital featuring three German premieres (including a new work by Greek composer Faidra Chafta-Douka). All the works are characterized by “variations within repetition,” a concept also reflected in the program title: “Circle:Cycle.”
