Ever since his ethereal anthem ‘Queen’ was released, Mike Hadreas, alias Perfume Genius, has been one of the queer superstars of American alternative pop. His collaborations with choreographer Kate Wallisch and visual artist Jacolby Satterwhite in particular have demonstrated how cross-genre the artistic vision of the musician, who now lives in Los Angeles, really is.

Otherwise, Astra is the hip music temple in the bustling neighborhood around Revaler Strasse, which still refuses to gentrify.
