French conductor (and former singer) Nathalie Stutzmann recently made headlines in Bayreuth, where female conductors are notoriously rare. Now Stutzmann is coming to Berlin to conduct the Staatskapelle with Tchaikovsky's "Symphony of Destiny" No. 5 in E minor. Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 1 and Glinka's popular "Ruslan and Ludmila" Overture will also be performed.
