Franz Schubert is considered an absolute master of four-hand piano music—and his biography has been re-examined from a queer perspective for years, partly due to his close male friendships and his homosocial behavior. The two exceptional pianists Bertrand Chamayou and Leif Ove Andsnes will perform key works such as the Fantasy in F minor and the Allegro Lebensstürme (Storms of Life). The program follows their new album Schubert 4 Hands.
