It was the first (and last) feature film in the GDR to deal with homosexuality – a milestone that captures a bygone world in pictures. It also premiered on the fateful night the Berlin Wall fell, 34 years ago. In the presence of actor Matthias Freihof (photo, right.) who portrayed its protagonist.
