Double bassist Nick Dunston, who divides his time between New York and Berlin, founded Skultura, an experimental jazz quintet comprised of international jazz luminaries (including Turkish vocalist Cansu Tanrikulu and queer Brazilian drummer Mariá Portugal), whose slowly unfolding soundscapes are as captivating as their unpredictable, eruptive solos. This time, they are joined by renowned British saxophonist and arranger Cassie Kinochi as a guest.
