nternational Roma and Sinti Day is a day of visibility, remembrance, and resistance. The Green Salon also has a lot to offer in terms of celebrating the diversity and empowerment of the Romani people:
The short film “Unterbrechung des Gedenkens” (Interruption of Remembrance) highlights forms of contemporary disenfranchisement against the backdrop of the ongoing memorial debate. Afterwards, filmmakers Estera Stan (RomaniPhen e.V./ Das Kombinat e.V.) and Violeta Balog (Amaro Foro e.V.) will discuss the importance of responsibility and the present, among other topics.

Nostalgische 20er Jahre Atmosphäre versprüht der Grüne Salon in Berlin Mitte. Der Charme der Roaring Twenties spiegelt sich in jeder Ecke wieder – Kronleuchter, Spiegelwand, schwere Samtvorhänge, Canapes und Eichenparkett. Das Programm ist abwechslungsreich mit Tanzkursen und -abenden, Chanson-, Swing- und Kabarettnächten. Die kultige 20er Jahre Nacht „Bohème Sauvage“ genießt das besondere Ambiente ebenfalls des Öfteren. Aber auch ganz normale Berliner Clubnächte mit Indie-, Electro- oder Reggaemusik werden hier gefeiert. Der Grüne Salon ist Teil der Volksbühne.
