The Italian star conductor, who has lived in Schöneberg for many years, recently caused a sensation at the Salzburg Festival with Donizetti. Now he is coming to the Philharmonie as part of the Musikfest Berlin and conducting the orchestra of the Deutsche Oper Berlin with a highly emotional Mahler program: “Das Lied von der Erde” (The Song of the Earth).
