It seems to be turning into something of an Axel Ranisch festival in Berlin: No sooner had his production of the homoerotically charged Handel oratorio "Saul" (1738) premiered at the Komische Oper than his new opera-themed film "Orphea in Love" opens at the Kant Kino - in the presence of the director, the cast and the film team. The evening will be moderated by Knut Elstermann. Afterwards, the film can be seen in cinemas nationwide.
