The diaries of gay writer Horst Bienek (1930-1990) have just been published, full of descriptions of his sexual escapades. Now Michael Krüger, one of the editors of the diaries, presents the texts of the artist, who died of Aids, in conversation with Thomas Spaar - as a queer foray through the West Germany of yesteryear.
